Paris, 1919. In the salon of Gertrude Stein, a group of bohemian expats gathers nightly to smoke, drink and write. World War I has ended, and their experiences and existentialism are on the eve of greatness — immortalized forever in the pages of The Great Gatsby, The Sun Also Rises, Our Town, and more.

“All of you young people who served in the war. . . . You are all a lost generation.” Stein’s 1924 letter to Hemingway bestows a moniker upon the artists, and their spirits live on in many a tortured soul since.

Rochester-based performance company Cat + The Coyote — whose experience includes Punchdrunk's Sleep No More — brings the Lost Generation to RCR with this immersive cocktail party in a reimagination of Stein’s salon.

Wander through scenes featuring Hemingway, Stein, the Fitzgeralds and a few other (vaguely familiar...) visitors while you sip custom cocktails from the team behind pop-up bar Rumble + Stir, all set to a soundtrack by DJ Jolene.

Admission includes two cocktails + performance. Black attire requested; 21+ over only.

Sponsored by T. Edward Wines and Rumble + Stir.
